Makati Central Business District
"The Makati Central Business District (CBD) is where most of Makati's financial resources are concentrated. This is an informal district bounded by EDSA, Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue (formerly Buendia), Antonio Arnaiz Road (formerly Pasay Road), and Chino Roces (formerly Pasong Tamo). It mainly encompasses Legaspi Village, Salcedo Village, Ayala Center, and parts of Bel-Air. Much of the area is owned by Ayala Land, Inc. and administered through Makati Commercial Estates Authority (MACEA), its subsidiary.
Many skyscrapers rise in this area. PBCom Tower along Ayala Avenue is the country's tallest building and reaches up 259 meters. It is the headquarters of the Philippine Bank of Communications, or PBCom. The Business District is also considered as one of the most vibrant commercial districts in South-East Asia. Makati CBD is considered to be a major metropolis affecting world economies.
One of the trading floors of the Philippine Stock Exchange is housed in Ayala Tower One and at the old Makati Stock Exchange Building, both also along Ayala Avenue. The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), the country's oldest bank, has its headquarters at the corner of Ayala Avenue and Paseo de Roxas.
Other companies that have their offices and country/regional headquarters within Makati City, most within the CBD, include Philippine Savings Bank (PSBank), IBM, Procter & Gamble, Citibank, Ayala Corporation, Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), Metrobank, Intel Philippines, Microsoft Philippines, Nestlé, Syngenta, Shell, Convergys Corporation, Commonwealth Insurance Company (CIC), PeopleSupport, Pan Pacific Computer Center, Inc. (PPCC), Colgate-Palmolive Philippines, Inc., Holcim Philippines, and JG Summit, Accenture. Hewlett Packard's main Philippines office and an HP service center are in Makati City. Asiana Airlines operates a sales office on the sixth floor of the Salcedo Tower in Makati City.
The Embassy of Switzerland, which serves the Philippines, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau, is located on the 24th floor of the Equitable Bank Tower in Makati City.
It occupies parts of Barangays Pio del Pilar, San Antonio, San Lorenzo, Bel-Air, and Urdaneta."

Ayala Avenue has been my financial resources for so many years as an employee. I had worked with Kimberly Clark which main office is in the 32Flr of Enterprise Tower at Ayala Ave. corner Paseo de Roxas street. The same with Misys, Philippines which is on the other side corner next to Insular Bldg.. I had also worked at corner Ayala Ave. and Herrera street at 40th flr Rufino Tower with Smart Communications in the year 1997-98. Smart Communication office is now at Smart Tower on the other side opposite Rufino Tower. Zuellig Pharma Asia Pacific in AXA Bldg at farthest end of Ayala and along Buendia Avenue now called Gil Puyat.

Binondo
Binondo is an enclave in Manila primarily populated by ethnic Chinese living in the Philippines. It is the oldest Chinatown in the world, established in 1594. Historically, this was where the Spanish permitted converted sangleys, their indigenous Filipino wives, and their mixed-race descendants, the mestizos de sangley or Chinese mestizos, to reside. Similarly, Parían, an area near Intramuros, was where the Spanish first restricted unconverted Chinese immigrants. They allowed sangley settlement at Parían because it was within the range of Intramuros' cannons, and they felt they could control any uprising from the labourers.
Located across the Pasig River from Intramuros, Binondo has typified a small Chinese town, and is referred to as the local "China Town". The district is the centre of commerce and trade for all types of businesses run by Filipino-Chinese merchants. Given the historic reach of Chinese trading in the Pacific, Binondo was already a hub of Chinese commerce before the first Spanish colonisers arrived in 1521.
Binondo is also considered a historic centre of the mestizo de sangleyde community; famous residents include St. Lorenzo Ruiz, the Filipino proto martyr, and Venerable Mother Ignacia del Espiritu Santo, founder of the Congregation of the Religious of the Virgin Mary.F

Fort Bonifacio / Bonifacio Global City
Fort Bonifacio (also known as Bonifacio Global City or The Fort) is a highly urbanized district in Metro Manila, Philippines. It is located 11 kilometers south-east of the center of Manila in an area disputed between the cities of Makati and Taguig as well as the municipality of Pateros. In recent years, the district has experienced robust commercial growth through the sale of military land by the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA). The entire district used to be the part of the main Philippine Army camp.
In 1995, Bonifacio Land Development Corporation (BLDC) started planning a major urban development—Bonifacio Global City. BLDC made a successful bid to become BCDA's partner in the development of the district. The Ayala Corporation through Ayala Land, Inc., and Evergreen Holdings, Inc. of the Campos Group purchased a controlling stake in BLDC from Metro Pacific in 2003. Ortigas Center
Ortigas Center is a financial and central business district located at the boundaries of Pasig, Mandaluyong, and Quezon City in the Philippines. With an area of more than 100 hectares (250 acres), it is Metro Manila's second most important business district after the Makati CBD.
Ortigas Center is home to many shopping malls, office and condominium skyscrapers, other building complexes, nightlife bars and restaurants. These include the St. Francis Square, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) compound, the Oakwood Premier serviced apartments and a Shangri-La hotel. It is also the headquarters of San Miguel Corporation, Jollibee Foods Corporation, the Philippine branch of HSBC, and Robinsons Galleria. Also present in the area are Philippine offices of prominent engineering firms such as Parsons Brinckerhoff, Sinclair Knight Merz, and WSP Group. It also home to the Banco de Oro main office owned by mall taipan Henry Sy, Sr. SM Megamall, the third largest mall in the country after SM North EDSA and SM Mall of Asia, is also in the Center along EDSA, as is the The Medical City, one of the three hospitals in the country accredited by the Joint Commission on International Accreditation.
Ortigas Center is surrounded by the streets of EDSA to the west, Ortigas Avenue to the north, Meralco Avenue to the east, and Shaw Boulevard to the south.

On this place I was able to agree to work for 4 long years as a contractor. Here, aside from this place was only 30 to 45 minutes drive from home, I felt that this was already home, my second home because of the people around, especially my onshore team mate. I felt they were not just my superior but also a friend who recognizes my talent and challenges me much that I can do more the way they expected : ). Kudos!!!

My last project contract for four years was at Alta Resources that was housed in Wynsum Tower along Emerald avenue now F. Ortigas street. I can say working here is the most fulfilling for there really good projects assigned to me that tickle my ability to do things i have not done yet. Implementing new AS400 releases, updates, command and utilities. I also had worked around here with SmithKline Beecham at JMT condominium, just at the back of Wynsum Tower and beside Discovery Bldg. Also at Eli Lilly, then at 9th flr , Robinson's Tower and with Schering Plough at 12Flr San Miguel Properties Bldg. Working at these companies was very fulfilling.

"Eastwood City is a 17 hectares (42 acres) commercial and residential development located in the Libis area of Quezon City in the Philippines. It is developed by Megaworld Corporation. It currently hosts 12 luxury residential condominium towers, with several more being developed.
Eastwood City Cyberpark is a BPO-targeted office complex forming part of Eastwood City. Its buildings include the 20-story Global One Center and the 10-story 1880 Eastwood Avenue. The cyberpark is listed as an approved IT Center by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, making export-oriented companies located therein eligible for temporary tax holiday, permanent reduced rate of corporate income tax, and other incentives.It was an early leader in business process outsourcing in the Philippines; out of 37 call centers operating in the country in 2003, 10 were located there. Major tenants include Accenture, Dell, IBM Global Services, Citibank, Atos, WNS Global Services, hibu and eTelecare. Eastwood City is speedily becoming the newest sought after business center in the country. Business offices, Residentails, Amusement and strolling parks, Shopping and theater malls sprawled just beside and near each other.
