Group Portrait:
This was actually taken before deciding to go home, just like writing a novel 'it ends where it start or maybe the right words are 'the ending that starts the new beginnings of being friends not just because were classmates' hihihi.

Rediscovering places to gather and enjoy. It was nice to know there are places like this just a little outside the town of Isabela. Thanks to our sweet couple Mr. and Mrs Romeo V. Madrileno.

Take time to pose with the guest speaker, Ms. Rossini Gayares

To Franklin enjoying and having a good time dancing with Myrna Alova to the tune of chacha

I was actually so shy during the event that only I understands why, a little agitated:). It was the first time after 40 plus years of seeing you all, the second time would be different... I will be talking to everybody just like a politician hihihi, exchanging pleasantries, sharing the ups and downs in our lives in a much more comrades atmosphere. Bawi-bawi din pag may taym.

To the two dear couple Mr and Mrs Gendrala and Mr. and Mrs Dela Cruz and of course Day San and hubby whom I haven't met yet in person...Thank You! Your awesome! ♥♥♥

Isabela Negros Occidental... Ang Banwa Ko!

It has always been an annual decision... a desire to go home.

I got this feeling that I'd like to explore every corner and saved it to one corner of my mind and heart unswayed by the hustle and bustle of a big city where I now lived.

Manang Gilda did finally booked a ticket for 3, Manang, me and Toto Jr. Our Flight schedule was April 12, 2016 so I informed my superior in UCPB earlier because my contract supposedly will end May 16, 2016 but it was verbally agreed before I signed a contract extension for another 6 months that if I finally decided to go to Isabela, Neg. Occ. I will just have to inform them.

We finally arrived in Bacolod/ Silay Airport at around 5:50AM. Manang Linda Reposo-Galeno and daughter Krislyn fetch us. We were supposed to drop by at 'The Ruins' but because it is too early in the morning we decided to go straight home to Isabela and agreed to just visit 'The Ruins' when we will fetch Meann and Aploy when they arrive, I will have another blog about that :).
"Isabela is a second class municipality in the province of Negros Occidental,Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 59,523 people.[3] Isabela is known for BISCOM (Binalbagan Isabela Sugar Company).

In 1951, the barrios of Magallon, Odiong and Guinpanaan were separated from Isabela and formed into the town of Magallon (now Moises Padilla)." source:Wikipedia

Location:"Isabela is bounded on the north by the towns of La Castellana and Moises Padilla on the west by the Municipality of Hinigaran on the south by the Municipality of Binalbagan and on the east by the Municipality of Guihulngan of the Province of Negros Oriental."

April 19, 2016 we were heading to the town plaza to watch the Employees Night program celebration where my sister Linda Reposo-Galeno was participating. We had a picture at the entrance of the auditorium,  see below,  before the start of the show ...

My friend Lorna and I were so lucky to have been able to have a picture with our Alma Mater Isabela National High School teachers participants.

Beautiful Sunset captured during our visit to Nanay and Tatay at Caram Cemetery, seems like telling us good vibes for the future.

Isabela also have a version of its own 'The RUINS' found in Bo. Alicante

Also a good sight... rice mill

Nipa Hut in the middle of sugar canes fields, backdrop, Mt. Kanlaon volcano

Views when taking road going east...

Sugar Cane fields just near our home, just across Bagumbayan St. and fronting Hacienda Maruja. As seen in the picture is Mt. Kanlaon.

It was so amusing and amazing to note that the sun rises where Glory Hill stands tall.

"Glory Hill has a cross on top which was built by an American engineer of Binalbagan-Isabela Sugar Company (BISCOM). The hill is visited by devout Catholics during the Holy Week."

View from Bo. Buenavista and along the highway going to east... Mabinay Mountains on your right and Mt. Kanlaon on your left with sugar cane fields.

Mt Kanlaon, as seen from Isabela

This is epic :)

How to Get to Isabela, Negros Occidental
